Budapest (BUD)

Ground Transportation: Unfortunately, there is no direct public transportation between the Airport and the City center. The Budapest Transport Company, BKK serves the airport with bus line number 200E. The buses depart from the airport to Kőbánya-Kispest metro station where you can change to metro line M3. The cheapest way to get to the city centre if buy a Transfer ticket which costs 530 HUF and valid for one trip with one change. The ticket must be validated at the printed number grids at either end: first when starting a trip at one end and at the other end when changing, with the exception of changes between metro lines (M1, M2 and M3).
During the night (from midnight to 4:00 a.m.) there is a night bus service. You can take nightbus nr. 900 to Bajcsy-Zsilinszky stop where you have to change to nightbus Nr.950 to the city center.
WiFi: Free WiFi is available in Terminal 2A, 2B landside and in the airside up to 2 hours (per calendar day).
Sleeping in the Airport: There are a lot of chairs in both Terminals without armrests so you can sleep in a very comfortable way. The security staff do not bother you at all.
Parking: Holiday parking area costs 2500 HUF per day or 9000 HUF per week. You will reach the terminal within an easy 6-10 minutes’ walk. More info:  http://www.bud.hu/english/passengers/access_and_parking/parking
Other: Terminal 2B is equipped with many power outlets, some of them are very close to the chairs. At the arrival level you can find an InterSpar supermarket which is open from 5:00 a.m. until 11:00 p.m. and offers food, drinks, snacks, sandwiches for cheap. In the Skycourt (airside) there are Burger King and KFC where you can eat for a cheap.
